hosts Jarrett Earnest and Leigha Mason talk about the incredible Jack Whitten show at MoMA (Jack Whitten: The Messenger), the paintings of Nicole Wittenberg and visiting her show at the Ogunquit Museum of American Art in Maine. Also, dog training and abstraction!
In the second half of the show, writer Lynne Tillman talks about her new collection of short stories, Thrilled to Death. We hear about her use of artworks as fuel for her writing, as well as some of the formal strategies she has employed towards fracturing the concept of selfhood!
