010: Matthew Leifheit // Peter McGough
Hosts Jarrett Earnest and Leigha Mason catch up on their holiday topics; dance coach intimacy, The Aluminum Christmas Tree Museum, and Julia Fox’s memoir Down The Drain. They are joined by photographer Matthew Leifheit to talk about his project, The Gay Chorus Endless Recital, in which he has been traveling around the country to various queer archives and unearthing recordings from different gay men’s choruses throughout the AIDS crisis.
Essential Cinema this week is one of our all-time favs: The Eyes of Laura Mars.
In the second hour, we are joined by iconic painter Peter McGough to discuss his new show “Alphabet” at Karma Gallery.
